Dance transcends mere rhythmic expression; it is a holistic pursuit that intertwines with the concept of well-being. Beyond soulful expression, dancing serves as a means to enhance physical health, fostering a harmonious relationship between movement and the body. Through dance, individuals engage in a dual journey of self-expression and physical vitality, creating a union of the artistry of motion and the cultivation of bodily strength.

All lessons are taught by qualified, professional instructors who all hold a full DBS, First Aid Certificate and Safeguarding Training.

Dance and Performing Arts Classes

Bounce and Beat was first launched in 2017 and the aim of the school is to provide the youngest of children with the ability to move and sing by the promotion of confidence and self esteem and to follow this through to their teens.

Nursery & Pre School Sessions

At Bounce and Beat, we specialize in classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, both in our studio and at nurseries. Using props like scarves, instruments, pom-poms, puppets, and bubbles, we create a fun and safe learning environment. Our sessions include storytelling, expressive movement, and song and dance, engaging children with props and music. Tailoring sessions to each child's ability, we teach infants to preschoolers, fostering confidence, social skills, and performance abilities.

Primary & Secondary Schools

Bounce and Beat offer sports and performing arts services for Primary and Secondary Schools, delivering a diverse range of activities, including Multi-Sports, Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre, Cheerleading, and Gymnastics. Their program aligns with the national curriculum, and qualified instructors prioritise engaging every child. Classes focus on improving coordination, motor skills, technical ability, and confidence through challenging exercises and games.

SEND Schools

Bounce and Beat employ Makaton Signing for effective communication in sessions, stressing the importance of enabling every student to express themselves through music. They collaborate with students in SEND classes and special needs schools, addressing various learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. The inclusive approach encourages all children to participate in movement activities, enhancing coordination and fine motor skills.
