The Country Market boasts a wonderful range of goods, all home-cooked, hand-made, and home-grown.

It features good, honest locally produced food made from simple ingredients.

From savory meals and snacks to freshly baked bread and cakes, there is a treat for everyone!

None of our products are pre-frozen, providing flexibility for home freezing. Producers are present to address inquiries, ensuring transparency. Dietary-specific options are crafted by available cooks to suit your needs.

Fresh Produce and Flowers

The vegetables available at the market are locally grown on smallholdings and in gardens. They are freshly harvested for the market and are always seasonal (sorry, no tomatoes mid-winter!). Some are cultivated without chemical inputs; please check with the growers. Skilled gardeners also locally grow plants, including cut flowers, eliminating air miles. Flower arrangements are freshly made for each market.

Crafts

Explore a wide range of crafts at the market—items for your home, family, and unique gifts and cards for every occasion. Our crafts not only adhere to trading standards, including fire safety, but the materials used in production are either new or of high quality, often 'upcycled.' The evident skill of the producer ensures a touch of artistry in every creation.
